Hello, All!

In announce of OpenVZ 7.0 release exists section "Known Issues":

"vzctl will be obsoleted in next version of OpenVZ, consider switching
to prlctl or virsh."

how it is possible switch frop vzctl to prlctl, if prlctl does not
contain all functionality of vzctl?

For example:

vzctl snapshot <ctid|name> [--id <uuid>] [--name <name>] [--description
<desc>]
vzctl snapshot-switch <ctid|name> --id <uuid>
vzctl snapshot-delete <ctid|name> --id <uuid>
vzctl snapshot-mount <ctid|name> --id <uuid> --target <path>
vzctl snapshot-umount <ctid|name> --id <uuid>
vzctl snapshot-list <ctid|name> [-H] [-o field[,field...]] [--id <uuid>]

snapshot-mount and snapshot-umount is absent in prlctl:

   snapshot <ID | NAME> [-n,--name <name>] [-d,--description <desc>]
   snapshot-delete <ID | NAME> -i,--id <snapid> [-c,--children]
   snapshot-list <ID | NAME> [-t,--tree] [-i,--id <snapid>]
   snapshot-switch <ID | NAME> -i,--id <snapid> [--skip-resume]

So, using only prlctl and virsh it is not possible to create backups,
as it described on wiki page: https://openvz.org/Ploop/Backup

"vzctl will be obsoleted in next version of OpenVZ, consider switching
to prlctl or virsh."

- how I can switch to prlctl or virsh if I need backups in OpenVZ 7 ?

"next version of OpenVZ" - this means minor update of OpenVZ 7,
or this means next major update to future version -- OpenVZ 8 ?
