Hi,

There are fresh OpenVZ templates of Openwall GNU/*/Linux userland here:

lftp mirrors.kernel.org:/openwall/Owl/current/vztemplate> ls
drwxr-xr-x -- ..
-rw-r--r-- 109M 2010-09-03 01:16 owl-current-20100903-i686.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 112M 2010-09-03 01:25 owl-current-20100903-x86_64.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 453 2010-09-03 02:23 vztemplate.mtree
-rw-r--r-- 353 2010-09-03 02:24 vztemplate.mtree.sign

and fresh ISOs here:

lftp mirrors.kernel.org:/openwall/Owl/current/iso> ls | fgrep 0903
-rw-r--r-- 457M 2010-09-03 01:23 Owl-current-20100903-i686.iso.gz
-rw-r--r-- 462M 2010-09-03 01:32 Owl-current-20100903-x86_64.iso.gz

(live + installable, as usual).

These use the latest "RHEL5 testing" OpenVZ kernel (works well so far) -
well, of course our own builds of it with some minor additional changes:

http://cvsweb.openwall.com/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/Owl/packages/kernel/

lftp mirrors.kernel.org:/openwall/Owl/current> ls i686/RPMS/ x86_64/RPMS/ | fgrep kernel
-rw-r--r-- 3.8M 2010-09-03 00:07 kernel-2.6.18-194.11.3.el5.028stab071.3.owl1.i686.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 3.3K 2010-09-03 00:07 kernel-fake-2.6.18-194.11.3.el5.028stab071.3.owl1.i686.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1.7M 2010-09-03 00:07 kernel-headers-2.6.18-194.11.3.el5.028stab071.3.owl1.i686.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 3.9M 2010-09-02 23:59 kernel-2.6.18-194.11.3.el5.028stab071.3.owl1.x86_64.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 3.3K 2010-09-02 23:59 kernel-fake-2.6.18-194.11.3.el5.028stab071.3.owl1.x86_64.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1.6M 2010-09-02 23:59 kernel-headers-2.6.18-194.11.3.el5.028stab071.3.owl1.x86_64.rpm

(the kernel-fake packages are for installs into containers, where a real
kernel is not needed but RPM dependencies may need to be satisfied).

For those who didn't know yet, Owl is a security-enhanced Linux distro
with OpenVZ integration:

Any feedback is welcome.
