There might be other bugs in quota handling, not only with ext4. I had
a case of really busy VE running Nagios that was regularly thrashing
the page cache of the host causing all sorts of weird bugs in other
VEs running on it, most visible was Mysql in another VE crashing on
purpose refusing to save a page to disk whose checksum
failed. Everything was (and still is) on ext3.

Once I turned off the quotas, it all went away. It took me three
months of trying everything possible to figure it out though :(

I havent opened a PR since I couldn't reproduce it except in our very
specific setup, but I'm happy to test if someone needs to confirm if
the particular fix is helping or not.
