[Users] virtual machine not able to ping out side netwrok

Dear all
recently i have installed openVZ on suse 10.x and i have installed centOS-4.0-minimal and its working fine but thing is that my CentOS-4.0 not able to ping outside lan or anyother pc on lan is there any special kind of setup
I have setup ip address of VM and hostname DNS but i dont know how to put default route caz it is venet0:0 interface and i dont know how its communicate with eth0 ( pysical interface ) can anyone explain me how this thing work..
