Yes that should work perfectly fine. The vzctl package from testing have some
more fixes in it. If you run i368 arch the package from testing will
install just fine. If you run amd64 I do not know as it is auto-built.

The only thing that you may hit is the problem reported in #683454.
Check if that is an issue for you.

Debian stable has the latest vzquota version.
