Yes I could. However the package name would be very long...

Today it is:
linux-image-2.6.18-openvz-12-1-486_028.18.1etch1_i386.deb

But I could change it to:
linux-image-2.6.18-openvz-12-1-486-028.18.1etch1_028.18.1etch1_i386.deb
which would give uname
2.6.18-openvz-12-1-486-028.18.1etch1

An alternative is that you take a look in the debian archive
to see which version it refers to:

In case of 2.6.18-openvz-12-1-686 above it refer to:
2.6.18-openvz-12-1-686_028.18.1etch1
