I'm trying to add my second network interface (eth1) to a guest. I do
"vzctl set 103 --netdev_add eth1 --save" but it returns "Unable to add
netdev eth1: Invalid argument" without more information...

What can I do to debug this ? Where could I start ? nothing in dmesg...

I have two interfaces rivate and public, so I do:
<br>
<br>
vzctl set 4254 --netif_add eth0,,,,private --save
<br>
vzctl set 4254 --netif_add eth1,,,,public --save
<br>
<br>
If you want the values autogenerated you need to have the ,,,, there.

<p>Hello,</p>
<p>I
don't want to add a vnetdev but i want to give a guest a real and full
access to the ethernet card itself. The wiki says it's possible with
vzctl set VEID --netdev_add ethX but it retunrs an "invalid argument"
error.</p>
<p>By the way, thank you.</p>
