Why did you think CE_SERVER will take any effect? I can see that we just request CentOS for its mirrors:

https://src.openvz.org/projects/OVZT/repos/centos-6-x86_64-ez/browse/os_mirrorlist?at=dist-vz7-u16

So one should either replace these two lines with vault mirror or switch template to baseurls (create "repositories" file instead of "mirrors" and place repo URL(s) there).

I tried to add the URL into /vz/template/conf/vztt/url.map

ie,

$CE_SERVER      https://vault.centos.org/6.10/os/x86_64/

and it still errors with the same.

Note however that vault doesn't seem to like massive downloads, be ready for connection breaks etc.

They have moved their repo to vault but if you update the URLs used to reflect the change, it should work.
