You can use pins to set higher priority for vzctl from OpenVZ repo like

           Package: vzctl
           Pin: release a=testing
           Pin-Priority: 900

string "           Pin: release a=testing" can be formed basing on output of
#apt-cache policy
it will show identification fields for repositories.
