(1) Oh so it was vzdump, I was thinking about vzmigrate.

(2) vzmigrate checks that cpt/rst modules are loaded before doing migration.
It looks like vzdump does not.

(3) modules loading/unloading are only done by vz initscript.
Maybe some other software unloaded vzcpt module for some reason.
