[Users] help: squezze

I try to remove it after installing openvz kernel, but when I start aptitude upgrade it shows same. Can show how to accomplish this?

If u install the openvz kernel u can purge the original kernel…

Not need then to hold the package

I always update openvz kernel .  I exclude only original kernels from upgrades. I tried  ( “aptitude hold linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64 “ than upgrade    it works for me.

I would definitely upgrade the kernel as there are some new features on part of cpu load  per VZ

If u really don’t want it to be updated type

Hi All!

 

A want to upgrade my openvz host on debian squezze. When I run “aptitude upgrade,”  it shows me to upgrade base kernel too. Is it recommended? Or is there a way to  exclude original kernel from upgrades?

 

apt-get upgrade
