I think I have them setup correctly. Still see the issue.

[root at localhost etc]# ls -l  | grep mtab
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root     12 Jun 29 10:52 mtab -> /proc/mounts

-bash-3.2# ls -l /etc | grep mtab
