1. Is this system are migrate physical >> to >>  virtual (VE) ?

If yes, try manual:
http://wiki.openvz.org/Physical_to_container

It's work for us (nearly 20 servers migrate to container and work very well)

2.  try manual to migrate, if you have P2V migration
