[Users] how to debug networking problems?

hi!

I am taking over an advanced setup with several physical networks per
virtual machine from a college and need to learn how to debug openvz
networking. Where do i find basic debugging steps for openvz
networking, like "are all vethX.Y interfaces connect to the right
bridge? check output of "brctl show" and make sure that all vethX.Y
interfaces are listed, otherwise check this and that config file!".
