And Red Hat practically owns KVM nowadays.

Since KVM is in the kernel and a lot easier to support (now that Xen is in 
Citrix' hand) Red Hat is moving to KVM for future products. Xen is 
supported in its curren state until RHEL5 wears out (Q1 2014).
