Your bug might have been fixed in the meantime, because my migration
properly failed and left VE running on the source node. Its just that
the error message might be confusing to people who are not familiar
with rsync internals.

But then it might be a different case because mine failed in the 2nd
rsync, and from your logs I think you tried to migrate a non-running
VE, so ther was no second pass at all.
