[Users] Problem with /proc/vz/veinfo

Yes I did :

phoenix:~# /etc/init.d/vz start
Starting OpenVZ: ..done
phoenix:~# vzlist
Unable to open /proc/vz/veinfo
VPS not found

I'm running debian sarge 3.1 what can I do?
