This does not look optimal. As we try to merge as much pages as possible
into one bio, we may have a lot of excess bios allocated here.
I believe we can merge up to UINT_MAX/PAGE_SIZE pages per bio. It looks
like we can't have huge pages here, so we probably can calculate an
estimate of how many bios we need.
