uid is already root:

uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root)


[host:/dev/cgroup]$ echo 580 > tasks
-bash: echo: write error: Operation not permitted

[host:/dev/cgroup]$ cat hello/tasks
580
610
2104
[host:/dev/cgroup]$
