I've updated pkg-cacher and vztmpl2. They can be installed or upgraded from http://repo.opensource-sw.net/debian, http://repo.opensource-sw.net/centos or http://repo.opensource-sw.net/fedora.
pkg-cacher
========
The main improvement is support for installation as a cgi script. The original apt-cacher supported cgi but it was broken when I rewrote it as pkg-cacher. The previous pkg-cacher package has been split into 3 packages. The new pkg-cacher package contains the core code but requires manual configuration to configure and start. There are two new packages pkg-cacher-sa and pkg-cacher-cgi. These new packages depend on the core pkg-cacher but install and configure it for stand-alone or cgi-mode respectively.
When upgrading, the old pkg-cacher should be uninstalled first then install either pkg-cacher-sa or pkg-cacher-cgi depending on the desired mode of operation.
Since Debian Sarge has been moved to the archive new entries for debian-archive and debian-archive-security were added to the path_map.
Also the documentation was cleaned up and obsolete scripts were removed.
vztmpl2
======
There were a number of changes made to the templates:
Fedora 8 and 9 templates now use the newkey repositories created after the Fedora servers were compromised.
Debian Sarge template updated to match the move of the repository to the debian-archive servers.
Ubuntu Intrepid template added.
Berkeley style ptys created for Ubuntu so that vzctl enter works.
