Suka, I think you are missing Eric's point.

You're imagining there is a problem because you can't have a file inthe
same /dev be both a device node and a symlink.

Eric is pointing out that you don't need a symlink, because the device
node can be a target for a bind mount.  So you can do

	mknod /dev/ptmx c 5 2
	clone(CLONE_NEWNS)
	mount --bind /dev/pts/ptmx /dev/ptmx

with no problems in either namespace.
