It will be rhel kernels in deb format. I'm going to test out some aspects
to see what kind of obstacles we can face. I'm personally using a  
setup that is heavily based on things that may be debian specific. I'm  
running root system on lvm on cryptfs or root on lvm on raid. It would  
be good if that still works fine.

Yes you are right. This is the core point. Unfortunatly this is the situation.
