[Debian] fatal "Cannot allocate memory" when doing "cat /proc/self/mountinfo"

I can not reproduce the Problem with facter. If I call facter it tells
me about selinux:

#> sudo facter selinux
false

but no problem occures. Only if I try to run
cat /proc/self/mountpoint.
