Bug#392015: [Debian] Re: Bug#478208: linux-patch-openvz asks for kernel version 2.6.18 while default kernel on lenny is 2.6.24

Hi Max,

I am happy to let you know we are getting ahead of schedule, as we
already have compilable (and even somewhat working) OpenVZ for 2.6.26.
You can see its git repo at [1].

This is currently -rc3 based. It is still in active development and some
more tricky stuff (like checkpointing) is missing yet, but the core
things are there.

Now more questions. In what form do you want our patches? We can provide
you with one big "consolidated" patch, and then multiple fixes/updates
on top of that (similar to what we do for Ubuntu Hardy openvz kernel
flavor, see [2]). Or we can keep sending the updated "consolidated"
patch till your kernel stabilizes, and individual patches on top after
that. Please advise.

Hope to hear from you soon,
  Kir.
