Ola,
Looks like Thorsten is "out for lunch" or something :) Maybe on vacation.

Thorsten,
Can you please update us with your current status and plans toward
porting this newer kernel?

Maybe Alex Kuklin (cced) can help us a bit here -- he volunteered to
help as I understand.

Alex,
The work that is needed to be done is porting 028stab035 patch set to
the latest kernel from Debian. The problem here is some patches that are
in our patchset are already included into Debian kernel. So what is
needed is to apply all the patches one by one, find out which patches
are already included and skip those, and finally produce a "combined"
patch which will apply cleanly on top of Debian kernel sources.

028stab035 patch set (broken out) is available from here,
http://download.openvz.org/~vass/for_thorsten/. Tarball also includes
the list of patches (which tells which patches and in which order are to
be applied). As for what kernel to use, I guess either you should know,
or Ola can help.

Regards,
  Kir.
