"crash" means that the VE stops working. The deinstallation process does
not fail, it just does not terminate. The VE does not any longer accept
connections of any kind, no activity of any kind is observable (log
files, etc.). If I reboot the VE via web interface, open files are lost.
This seems to indicate that the VE is not properly shut down, but crashed.
Sorry for the imprecise bug report. I do not have control over the host
node, so I don't see how to provide additional information. If you know
a way, let me know. If someone else can reproduce the problem on a
non-production server, it would be good if he/she could provide
additional information since I don't want to crash my VE more often than
necessary.
