Hi Alex,

I'm not sure we really need a new plugin hook for this. All the special 
VMAs we need to deal with are associated with our device files. I think 
our ext-file plugin could probably deal with them.

We're still trying to understand the details of how CRIU saves and 
restores VMAs. I think we'd like CRIU to still save and restore all the 
mapping-related metadata (virtual addresses, file descriptor, mapping 
flags, protection flags, mapping offset, etc). Our plugin would take 
care of saving and restoring the contents if necessary.

Does this sound reasonable?
