You are right. Fortunately, we have a rule, that a person who found
a treasure gets 90% of it, so you have all rights to fix it!!!

T-s-s-s-s. Someone can say yes and get all treasure. In such cases, I
would recoment you to fix the bug silently and send a fix as soon as
possible.
