oof. This looks like another 3.11 restriction that was later dropped,
so we probably need a patch similar to
f444f7fac40c891a60214915b3d1ec0f8b6de6c7. I've attached a patch that I
think should fix it, but do you have a 3.11 VM around again that I can
test it on?
