I wonder if we can make it a fallback, so that if it's not found in
one of the hinted locations, we can do a full scan if
--irmap-deep-scan is passed. The situation I'm trying to avoid is that
someone's dump fails because we didn't do the full scan when it was
necessary, because it would be slow in the common case where.

Ok, I'll add a --irmap-scan-loc. Should we also apply the first patch
as well?
