Oh I forgot these aren't on by default--make sure the following kernel config
options are set:

CONFIG_NET_9P=y
CONFIG_NET_9P_VIRTIO=y
CONFIG_9P_FS=y

Or load the corresponding modules if you've got them configured as modules.
