I was able to get past the "missing netlink_diag" error on ubuntu by
reinstallling so that netlink_diag module was loaded.

sudo apt-get install --reinstall linux-image-extra-3.13.0-24-generic

I'm having another error on dump now, but I'll post that separately. Thanks
