We are trying to use CRIU to reduce application launch time.
One of the issues there is that the memory size of the application is quite huge compared to the storage speed. However, it appears that most of the pages are not accessed at least shortly after the launch (or initial ready state).
We are not targetted to a specific application or a specific product, but for general "heavy" applications on relatively "light" hardware pieces.
